The City of Regina says it will be offering free transit to help voters get to the polls on election day this Monday.

This includes both conventional buses and paratransit.

Riders can print a pass from Regina.ca/transit or show the bus operator the pass on their phone.

Polls are open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to find your poll use the “My Voter Info” tool on the City’s website.

Passengers are reminded to keep the community safe by following these steps:

• Mask up before boarding. Face masks are mandatory. Non-medical, simple face masks are acceptable, including alternative coverings like a bandana in two layers wrapped around the mouth and nose. Riders are encouraged to bring their own.

• Keep distanced from other passengers whenever possible.

• Keep the mask on for the entire trip. Passengers not wearing a mask will be asked to leave the bus.

• Use hand sanitizer once boarded. Dispensers have now been installed on all buses for passenger use.
