Environment Canada has now issued a Winter Storm Watch for central and southern Saskatchewan.
This includes Prince Albert, the Battlefords, Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Yorkton, Melville Weyburn and Estevan and all surrounding rurals of these communities.
Freezing rain, high winds and snowfall accumulations of up to a foot and a half are expected in some regions.
Highways are expected to be extremely dangerous with icy sections, snow accumulation and poor visibility.
Not only November records, but all-time records, are in danger of being broken by this incoming weekend storm on the Prairies. #abstorm #skstorm
