Regina declares snow routes in effect beginning Tuesday morning

Sunday and Monday’s snowfall has resulted in the City of Regina activating snow routes at a number of locations in the city starting Tuesday morning.

The snow route declaration will be in effect from 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10 until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11.

When snow routes are declared by the city, it means vehicles are not permitted to park along a snow route for a 24-hour period to allow crews to plow roads from curb to curb. The city says vehicles that stay parked on a snow route during the temporary parking ban will be ticketed.

Snow routes can be identified by blue signs with a white snowflake posted on select roads.

Residents can view which streets are considered snow routes by viewing a map on the city’s website. More information about snow routes is available on their website.
