South Dakota-based Raven Industries has opened a new multi-million dollar Canadian head office east of Regina at Emerald Park.

Raven autonomy executive director Wade Robey says the head office will enable the company to further develop the robotic Dot technology, acquired from Seedmaster earlier this year.

The dot robot technology was showcased at over half a dozen locations in Saskatchewan this year, seeding and spraying crops.

Robey says the company has a major expansion plan and expect to market the technology just after spring seeding next year.
