Regina Catholic High Schools moving to Level 3

Regina Public High Schools had already moved to Level 3 in an effort to reduce traffic, but after not doing so originally, Regina Catholic Schools will be doing so after an announcement by the Saskatchewan government Friday.

Riffel, O’Neill. Leboldus and Miller will be moving to the hybrid model which sees kids go to class on alternate days.

Block Two classes will start Monday, November 16 as previously scheduled with all students in attendance. Students will be dismissed at noon on Tuesday, November 17 and Wednesday, November 18 to allow transition time.

Starting Thursday, November 19, “Block Two” classes will be delivered with hybrid instruction (students alternating between face to face and at home learning). This will continue up to and including the last day of classes prior to the Christmas break on December 18.

Schools will work to determine groupings, and that information will be communicated to families by high schools on Tuesday, November 17. This plan will be re-evaluated prior to January 2021.

The Prairie Valley School Division has also announced Greenall High in Balgonie is also moving to Level 3 effective Monday with this being in place until the end of the semester in late January.
