APAS launches rural internet speed test

APAS has launched Saskatchewan’s first internet speed test.

President Todd Lewis is asking rural residents to test their internet speed to set up a baseline for internet service levels and push for improvements.

“We have lots of anecdotal evidence that people aren’t satisfied with their service, and this test will go a long ways to getting some information that we can take back to the service providers, the government, and say this is actually what’s happening on the ground here in Saskatchewan,” said Lewis.

Lewis says the internet speed test is quick and user friendly at the APAS website
