Individual in Moose Jaw fined for breaking self-isolation rules after testing positive for COVID-19

Moose Jaw Police say a person has been issued a COVID-19 non-compliance fine.

The individual tested positive for the virus then decided to not self isolate for the required 14 days, therefore potentially exposing others to the virus.

Through investigation and consultation with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the individual was fined $2,800 for non-compliance of the order.

The individuals name was not released.

It’s not known how many times the individual went out into the public or where they went.
