SHA making Broadview hospital facility for COVID-19 care only

Effective immediately, the Broadview Hospital is not open to the general public and has been designated for COVID-19 patient care only.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority says it is doing this because of an increase of cases in the area. As of Wednesday, the southeast zone had 98 active cases with six in hospital.

Those who need non COVID-19 care are being told they can go to hospitals in the surrounding area.

While lab services will be available on an urgent basis at the discretion of a physician or nurse practitioner, X-Ray services will not be available until further notice.
