Regina Crime Stoppers has launched an online 50/50 lottery.
Tickets are on sale now and have price points of 10, 20 and 50 dollars.
Regina Crime Stoppers President Craig Perrault says COVID-19 has made it tough for volunteers to fundraise in traditional manners.
“The uncertainty is tough, as a board we usually meet 11 times throughout the year in person, we’ve been switching and doing that all virtually,” said Perrault. “But that type of activity is now normal for people, it’s the fundraising that’s been impacted.”
Ticket buyers need to be in the Regina area at the time of purchase, but are eligible for the grand-prize if their address is outside of Regina on the draw date.
Tickets can be bought online at Regina Crime Stoppers.ca.
The draw is December 10th at the Cornwall Centre.
