COVID-19 cases found at Campbell Collegiate and three elementary schools

Regina Public Schools are informing the public of COVID-19 cases found at one High School and one Elementary School in their system.

The Saskatchewan health Authority has informed the public school division of several COVID-19 cases being traced back to Campbell Collegiate. The affected students, including close contacts, will not be allowed to return to school until Dec. 2.

Meanwhile, one case was found at Glen Elm Community School. It is not known if the case comes from a student or staff member. All close contacts known at this time have been contacted, and will not be able to return to school until Dec. 4.

Plainsview school also remains open after an individual connected to that school tested positive. The affected class has been closed and remote learning will continue for students until Dec. 8.

Lastly, one person has tested positive for COVID-19 at Grant Road School. The students affected will take part in remote learning until Dec. 3.

Letters have been sent home in all instances, and the schools remain open at this time.

Any additional close contacts will be contacted directly by public health.
