Saskatchewan could see more health measures put in place on Wednesday, after 175 more cases of COVID-19 were announced Tuesday.
Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab and Premier Scott Moe postponed Tuesday’s update until Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

In the announcement Tuesday, it stated that Dr. Shahab is actively developing and considering further measures to implement, to try and knock down rising COVID-19 cases.
Also on Tuesday Alberta declared a provincial emergency and enhanced its current health measures in place, and on Monday Toronto and Peel region entered a 28 day lockdown.
Some of the new measures in Alberta include cancelling all in person classes for students in Grades 7 to 12 and banning indoor gatherings.
Saskatchewan currently has 2,927 active cases, with the highest concentration in Saskatoon at 826, Regina is next with 624.
The seven day average for new cases is 209, with about 17 people per 100,000 testing positive.
There are 105 people currently in hospital across the province, with 85 people receiving inpatient care, and 20 patients in ICU.
