Herbert and District Integrated Facility will no longer be offering emergency care until further notice.

The move is being made due to COVID-19 activity in the area and to realign health services to support care.

Long-term care services are not affected by this disruption at this time.

In emergency situations, residents are encouraged to call 9-1-1 or visit emergency services in Moose Jaw and Swift Current.

This is the second time health services have been disrupted in Herbert during the pandemic. Back in July, an outbreak was declared at the retirement home in town.
