Miller Collegiate reports fourth case of COVID-19; school remains open

The Regina Catholic School Division is reporting an additional case of COVID-19 at Miller Collegiate.

This is the the fourth known positive case of COVID-19 at the school, but because these cases were transmitted outside of the school, the Catholic school division says the school will remain open.

The impacted classrooms will switch to remote learning until Dec. 10, but all other classes will remain open. All impacted staff and students have been contacted, and further close contacts will be contacted by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

It is not known if the school’s newest case comes from a student or staff member.

As well, RCSD also announced a COVID-19 case at St. Matthew School.

The affected classroom is closed until Dec. 9, and all parents and students known to be involved at this time have been notified. All other classrooms will remain open.
