The CFL has answered a couple more big questions about the 2021 season.

The league announced that free agency will open February 9, 2021. At 11:00am that day teams can begin signing players whose contracts have expired. Teams will be able to sign their own pending free agents starting on Monday, December 7.

The Riders have 28 players whose contracts expire in February including DE Charleston Hughes, WR Shaq Evans and RB William Powell. A complete list is below.

Big names from other teams that become free agents February 9 include Bombers running back Andrew Harris, two-time Most Outsanding Lineman Stanley Bryant and reigning Most Oustanding Canadian Henoc Muamba.
