ICE Unit investigation leads to child pornography charges for Regina man

A 48-year-old Regina man is facing child pornography charges following an investigation lasting two months by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit.

The investigation began on November 17 when members learned of the individual accessing child pornography through file sharing networks.

On December 3, investigators executed a search warrant at a Regina home and located the child pornography files. A computer and cell phone were seized for further forensic analysis.

Britton J. Main of Regina has been charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography. While he was released from custody on multiple conditions, he will be making his next court appearance on January 19 in Regina.
