Sask. man pleads guilty for violating OH&S guidelines in 2018 incident

A Saskatchewan man plead guilty to violating Occupational Health and Safety regulations in a 2018 incident that left a worker injured.

Donald Cal was charged with failing to report an accident that required a worker to be hospitalized, and failing to provide the necessary training to protect the worker.

Cal has been fined $10,000, along with a surcharge of $4,000, for a total amount of $14,000. Two additional charges were withdrawn.

The charges stem from a worksite incident that occurred on October 25th, 2018 near Hudson Bay.
