Police, coroners service continuing investigation into body found in Regina alley

The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are continuing their investigation into the death of a woman found Tuesday in an alley on the 2100 block of Albert Street.

Police say they have identified the body and have notified family members of her death.

The investigation started when police were sent at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday morning to an alley where a woman was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Regina police say her name will not be released at this time.

Any information that could assist investigators is asked to be directed to Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
