Regina Police were able to issue a ticket for a public health order violation midnight Thursday night.

Police were investigating a stolen vehicle incident, with the investigation taking officers to the 1900 block of Wallace Street.

Police encountered a private large gathering on that block that exceeded the maximum of five people, and issued the resident of the home a $2,800 fine.

Police are reminding residents to make themselves aware of the public health orders, including the maximum gathering size of five people.
