A group of Canadian business organizations have called on parliament to approve the Canada-UK trade agreement.
The Canadian Agri-food trade Alliance, CFIB, Chamber of Commerce, Business council and Canadian Manurfacturers and Exporters say they need to maintain existing market access to the UK.
The group says the UK is Canada’s largest trading partner in Europe and the transitional agreement will provide trade stability.
The group wants the interim agreement implemented by January 1st to avoid any trade disruption.
