If you have a real Christmas tree up in your house, the City of Regina is hoping you will take it to their yard waste depot to be composted.
Starting Boxing Day and running until the end of January, trees will be accepted at the depot which is located on Fleet Street north of MacDonald.
All that is asked is that the tree has no decorations on it and it is not in a tree disposal bag.
Last year, 32 tonnes of trees were collected.
