November was another month for booming grain exports on CN Rail.
CN’s director of sales and marketing, David Przednowek says CN set a new grain shipment record for the month of November.
“CN shipped over 3.14 million tonnes of Canadian grain, and processed grain products in November via carload,” said Przednowek. “Which is over 12 percent above our previous record set in 2018, and that definitely required close coordination in the end-to-end supply chain between all the players.”
Since August first, CN has shipped 11.3-million tons of grain to market, compared with 9-million tons last year at the same time.
