Riders sign two defensive linemen

Two players that will compete for jobs on the Riders defensive line in 2021 have signed on with the team.

One of the two is someone with CFL experience as Freddie Bishop III recorded six sacks with the Argos in 2019.  He has also spent time with Calgary.  The 30-year-old is a Western Michigan product who is 6 foot 3 and weighs 255 pounds.

The other player signed also comes from Western Michigan.

25-year-old Keion Adams has spent time in the camps of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. He was taken by the Steelers in the 7th round of the 2017 draft.

The team also announced American linebacker Matthew Thomas has opted back into his contract.
