The Riders have added a quarterback to their roster

On Wednesday, the team announced they have signed Mason Fine to a three-year contract.

The 23-year-old played four seasons at North Texas University.  In that time, he passed for 12,505 yards and 93 touchdowns, which are school records, with 39 interceptions.

Fine was named the Conference USA offensive player of the year in 2017 and 2018.

He joins Cody Fajardo and Isaac Harker as quarterbacks on the roster.   Potential free agent James Franklin has until February 9 to sign a new deal with the club or he will eligible to sign anywhere.
