Heavy fog has rolled into southeast Saskatchewan Saturday morning, prompting Environment Canada to issue fog advisories.

The advisory is in effect for Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Oxbow, as well as their surrounding areas. A similar advisory was also issued for the City of Lloydminster.

Heavy fog is bound to make highway travel difficult at times. Environment Canada says visibility could be near-zero at times.

However, the fog is expected to lift later in the day.
