Riders O linemen return to fold

Each day the Riders offensive line looks more and more like the unit from 2019.

Two of the players the Riders started at tackle last season will be back for the coming year. Terran Vaughn has signed a one-year contract extension through the 2021 season. He was to be a free agent come February.

Vaughn started 16 games for the Riders in 2019 including the playoffs–15 at left tackle and one at right tackle.

Vaughn is the fourth starter from that season to do a new contract with the club in the offseason. The Riders previously announced extensions for guard Brendon LaBatte and centre Dan Clark.

As well, on Thursday the CFL transactions wire noted that Cofield had restructured his contract. He had previously signed a deal through 2021.

Cofield started four games at left tackle in 2019.
