Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer, Dr. Saqib Shahab has been working tirelessly now since last March when the COVID-19 pandemic took over our way of life.
He’s received his fair share of criticisms as well, from anti-maskers and COVID-19 deniers over the last 11 months.
This past weekend though a parade of about 50 vehicles in support of Dr. Shahab made their way down and around Regina’s Wascana Centre.
Those who attended the parade Sunday, many who felt they’re part of the silent majority, felt that the recent protest of Shahab in front of his family home was the turning point of when something needed to be done, and support and appreciation from the other side needed to be shown.
