SGI is telling drivers in our province its traffic focus for February is catching impaired drivers behind the wheel.

The message from SGI is getting caught driving while impaired simply isn’t a good thing even if you didn’t crash your car or hurt or killed anyone as the consequences remain.

Those consequences relate to impoundment, licence suspension, legal fees and other areas that will have a serious impact on your life as you know it.

In 2019, SGI says there were 21 deaths attributed to drinking and driving along with 342 injuries.
