A man from the George Gordon First Nation near Punnichy is dead after freezing to death.

RCMP say the 21-year-old was reported missing Saturday after leaving his home and was found a short distance away the next day.

The death is not considered suspicious with the investigation being led by the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service. His name is not being released.

The First Nation is about an hour northeast of Regina.
