Police in Moose Jaw are investigating after a woman was stabbed in the north-west area of the city Wednesday.

Officers were able to locate a 43-year-old woman with non-life threatening injuries after receiving report of the stabbing. The victim — who has not been named — was taken to hospital by EMS and is in stable condition.

Police have arrested a 37-year-old woman in connection to the stabbing, and charged her with aggravated assault. The suspect’s name has not been released. The accused will appear in court Thursday.

Moose Jaw police are continuing to investigate.
