244 new cases of COVID-19 in Sask; 4 new deaths

Four Saskatchewan residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. Two deaths were reported in the 70-79 age group from the Saskatoon zone, one death was reported in the 80+ age group from the Central East zone, and one death was reported in the 80+ age group from the North West zone.

There are 244 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to date to 26,389 cases.

Highest case numbers come from Saskatoon with 66, Regina with 55, and the North West with 30.

A total of 24,085 individuals have recovered and 1,950 cases are considered active.

There are 187 people in hospital. 167 people are receiving inpatient care, 20 people are in intensive care.

There were 1691 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 48,566.
