Docu-series tracking Saskatchewan food to the table coming to TV

A new TV docu-series traces Saskatchewan meals from farm to plate.

“Flat Out Food” is based on a book written by Saskatoon journalist and author Jenn Sharp.

The six-part series visits a variety of farms and restaurants across the province. Each program concludes with a stunning meal — cooked by a chef — using Saskatchewan grown ingredients like chanterelle mushrooms, bison, honey and fiddleheads.

Flat Out Food debuts Wednesday night at 10:00 PM on CityTV Saskatchewan. It will continue every Wednesday until the end of March.
