Regina police charge five in 2020 home invasion

An investigation into a home invasion that happened in January 2020 has resulted in four men and a woman being charged.

On January 20, 2020, police were sent to a home on Westminster Road in the city’s southeast end.  An investigation showed a 71-year-old woman answered a knock at her door resulting in three men pushing their way inside and threatening her with a taser.  A laptop computer was taken along with some prescription medication and 14 pellet guns.  The three then fled in the victim’s car.

After a year, police have charged 25-year-old Brooke-Lynn Selensky, 25 year-old Matthew Tone,  33-year-old Daniel Brann, 34-year-old Daniel Ward and 40-year old Curtis Mikituk. All face charges of break, enter and commit robbery with Mikituk facing an additional assault charge.
