Regina Police looking for man involved in Thursday car theft

On Thursday morning around 10:00 am, Regina Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in progress on the 1500 block of 11th Avenue.

Police were told that a vehicle, stolen by a suspect unknown to the victim, was last seen driving southbound on St. John Street. The suspect was described as a male with light skin, a medium build, and wearing a black hoodie.

Police located the victim, a 35-year-old woman. Police learned that the victim was physically assaulted and pulled from the vehicle. The suspect got into the vehicle and drove away down 11th Avenue, turning south on St. John Street.

The woman sustained minor injuries. The car was later found on the 1800 block of Ottawa Street.
