165 new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan on Wednesday; 51 in Regina

The government says 165 new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed on Wednesday.  Of those 165, Regina continues to see the most as they have 51.  This means Regina has 441 of the 1,395 active cases in the province or 32 percent.

Besides the cases in Regina, the other new cases are located in the Far North West (3), Far North Central (1), Far North East (24), North West (19), North Central (12), North East (7), Saskatoon (24), Central West (1), Central East (9), Regina (51), South West (4), South Central (4) and South East (6) zones.

137 people are in hospital with 27 of those 137 in intensive care.

The seven-day daily average of new cases is 139 or 11.3 new cases per 100,00.  This is the lowest seven-day average since November 13.

1,493 vaccines were administered on Wednesday with Saskatoon and Regina seeing the most.
