Albert Community School in Regina has announced a positive COVID-19 case on Friday.

Regina Public Schools says close contacts have been notified and remote learning has commenced for affected students.

“If there are any additional close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes,” reads a statement from the school division.

The school remains open at this time.
