Investigation underway after human remains found in RM of Morris

Watrous RCMP have a mystery on their hands after a human shull was found in a field in the RM of Morris, about two hours north of Regina.

The discovery was made on February 28 by people looking for shed antlers.

An autopsy took place where it was determined the skull belongs to what they believe is a female between the age of 25-35. The autopsy also showed the remains do not appear to be historical in nature.

At this time, it is not known if the death is considered suspicious.
