Regina man facing charges after Tuesday morning robbery downtown

Regina Police have made an arrest in connection to a robbery that took place on the 1900 block of Albert Street, near the corner of 12th Avenue.

Police were called to the business early Tuesday morning after the caller claimed the suspect entered the store and threatened the cashier behind the counter with a knife after he was denied access to go behind the counter.

When officers arrived, the suspect had fled the scene, but was located a short distance away. The suspect was arrested and the alleged weapon was found on the ground outside of the business.

42-year-old Kyle Pratt of Regina has been charged with robbery, and appeared in court Tuesday morning.
