Purple will be the colour of the evening in downtown Regina.
The Hill Towers will be shining purple in support of “Purple Day” which is an initiative to provide awareness and hope for those living with epilepsy
Approximately 260,000 people in Canada including 2,500 people in Regina suffer from epilepsy.
“Purple Day” started in 2008 with communities across the Canada be asked to do many things including lighting up local monuments.
Other buildings to go purple on Friday night include Regina City Hall, the RCMP Heritage Museum and the McKenzie Art Gallery
