A total of nine COVID-19 cases were traced back and reported from various schools around Regina Monday afternoon and evening.
The Regina Public School system saw four of them; one case each being traced back to Campus Regina Public, W.H. Ford, Henry Braun and Judge Bryant Schools.
Meanwhile, the Regina Catholic School Division saw five cases traced back to their schools; with one case being traced back to St. Pius, Deshaye, St. Nicholas, Archbishop M.C. O’Neill High and Mr. Martin LeBoldus High Schools.
All close contacts that have been determined so far have been contacted. Any other close contacts will be called by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
In the Catholic School system, their families are being reminded to complete the Daily Self-Assessment Checklist before attending in-person classes.
Both school divisions began remote learning for all students on Monday, and will resume in-person learning on April 12, after the spring break.
This is on top of four cases being traced back to schools announced Monday morning, as well as two from the Regina Huda School that were also announced Monday.
