Regina Police say a high risk sex offender who had been living in the city’s Heritage neighbourhood is no longer residing there.
On Monday officers said that Jason Paul Thorn had been arrested after living in the area since March 11th.
Police say Thorn’s arrest was not the result of a new criminal offence.
He was arrested because of a mandatory suspension warrant issued by Correctional Service Canada.
Thorn’s criminal history included sexual offences, police said he posed a high risk for sexual offences against under age girls.
