The NDP is condemning the SaskParty’s record on jobs.
Opposition leader Ryan Meili says 80 percent of the new Chinook power plant work in Swift Current went to out of province workers.
Meili is worried the same will happen with the 800 million dollar Moose Jaw power project.
Premier Scott Moe says there was no Saskatchewan bidder on the natural gas power project and the province is working hard to re-build neglected infrastructure.
He says the province is building roads, schools, hospitals and long-term care centres with far more local workers than the NDP.
Moe says 84 percent of crown corporation’s procurements go to Saskatchewan suppliers.
He pointed out 54 percent of last fall’s NDP election campaign expenses went to out of province workers.
