Community Safety Officers will now be patrolling Wascana Centre by bike.

The CSO program emphasizes community engagement and helps create a safe environment , good for well being, the province said in a news release.

The CSOs will have full peace officer powers and will support the Regina Police Service and security agencies within the park.

Duties include enforcement of the traffic safety act and enforcement of the alcohol and gaming and cannabis regulations acts.
