Single-game tickets for the upcoming Rider season went on sale Monday. Many are excited to see the team get back on the field for the first time since the 2019 Western Final and that excitement was proven as many tickets were snapped up according to Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement Miriam Johnson.
“We did sell over 16,000 tickets on Monday, but we still have lots of tickets left.” Johnson said. “Our season-ticket holders are back in full force and if Monday was any indication, our single-game ticket sales are strong as well. We have approximately 10,000 single-game tickets per game and we did sell a lot for the home opener (August 6th) and the Labour Day Classic (September 5), but if you want to experience Rider football there are still plenty of tickets available for as low as $27.”
While there are no restrictions on capacity, there are still some protocols that need to be followed that will see the game-day experience be a little different. Johnson says as it stands right now, you will see very few people on the field meaning cheerleaders will do their thing elsewhere with Gainer also having to do his thing away from the field. Entertainment will be spread through the concourse, but Johnson says the action on the field which is what fans want to see won’t be changing so you should enjoy your day at Mosaic Stadium as you have in the past.
