Five days after restrictions were removed when it comes to COVID-19, the province continues to see low numbers.
On Friday, the government announced 20 new cases with the active case count now sitting at 380. The most active cases are in the Far Northeast zone where there are 99 because of an outbreak on the Hatchet Lake First Nation.
There are two new deaths to report. One person was in their 60’s from the Northwest zone with the other person being someone from the Far Northeast zone in their 70’s.
There are 53 people in hospital. Of those 53, nine are in intensive care

Just under 11,000 vaccines were given out Thursday. The government says 58 percent of citizens aged 12 and over are now fully vaccinated.
