The Regina Pats have named its new play-by-play voice.
Dante De Caria comes to the team after working one season with the Powell River Kings of the BC Junior Hockey League and four years with the Ottawa Junior Senators of the Central Canadian Hockey League. De Caria will be calling all Pats games on 620 CKRM as well as working with the team as their Manager of Broadcast and Hockey Communications.
De Caria also has experience working in baseball, working in communications with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2017 and as a broadcaster and communications assistant for their Class-A affiliate, the Lansing Lugnuts.
The Pats first game on 620 CKRM this year will be on Saturday, September 18 when they are home to the Prince Albert Raiders in a pre-season contest.
The regular season opens October 1 in Prince Albert with the home opener happening the next night against the Raiders.
