A body has been found inside a residence after a house fire in the community of Madison early Wednesday morning.

Kinderlsey RCMP, along with Kindersley and Eston Fire responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m..

Upon arrival police say the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters located the deceased person later that morning.

Kindersley RCMP are working with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to determine the identity of the deceased individual, but preliminary investigation has determined it may be the man who owned the home.

No other information is available at this time.

Madison is about 40 kilometres south of Kindersley.
