SARM President Ray Orb, is highlighting key issues for the federal election campaign.

Orb says rural internet service is extremely important and needs more federal funding to enable rural business to survive and thrive.

He adds farmers need to be recognized financially for efforts to reduce greenhouse gases through modern farming methods.

Orb is also calling for more federal funds for rural roads and bridges as well as improved farm support programs.
