New visitation rules for Regina’s hospitals

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is dialing back visitor restrictions on Regina’s hospitals.

Regina General and Pasqua Hospitals will now allow for an unlimited number of essential family and support persons or visitors for each patient outdoors, but families will still be asked to consider limiting the number of individuals who are designated.

There will be a limit of two essential family or support persons present indoors, with up to four allowed for ICU, end-of-life of palliative care.

Anyone attending an SHA hospital will still be required to wear a medical grade face mask at all times, and failure to do so may result in being denied access to a facility.
