There are 389 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan. Of those cases, 153 are in Saskatoon, followed by the North Central with 58. There are 20 cases in Regina. Almost two-fifths (38.3%) of new cases are in the 20 to 39 years of age category while about one in seven (14.7%) new cases was fully vaccinated.
One more person has died after testing positive for COVID-19.
The active case count sits at 3,119 after 163 more people have recovered. That number is the highest Saskatchewan has been at since January 24.
138 people are in hospital, including 25 people in ICU.
2,489 additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered Saturday. 1,379 of those went to people who are now considered fully vaccinated.
