REPORT: Chris Jones returning to CFL with Toronto Argonauts

According to multiple reports, including TSN former Saskatchewan Roughriders Head Coach and GM Chris Jones is coming back to the CFL, as defensive coach for the Toronto Argonauts.

A week after signing a new deal, Jones left the Saskatchewan Roughriders in January of 2019 to take a job in the NFL as a defensive specialist with the Cleveland Browns.

In three seasons with the Riders Jones had a 27-27 record.

Jones was named the CFL’s coach of the year in 2018.
